My name is John Kerfoot.
I was born and raised in southeast Michigan.
I live with my amazing wife, Caroline, and our dog, Foxy.
We love to travel and enjoy watching bad dating shows, to remind us how lucky we are to be married.
So here's some background on my experience: I have worked in video production for over 20 years.
I obtained both my Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Film.
I have also taught film and video production classes at Wayne State University for 6 years.
I've shot commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, music videos, and short films.
I also created a local web series that amassed over 30 million views.
I recently had a groom tell me "I grew up on your videos," which made me feel really old.
And I have shot over 300 weddings.
I bring all this experience to you, so that on your wedding day you won't have to worry about your videographer.
I know where and when to be to get the shot.
I also work solo, so you won't have to worry about a paparrazi-style team of videographers getting in the way of you, your guests, or your vendors.
Remaining non-obtrusive is extremely important to me. I've even been called a "ninja" by a few brides.
I use the best equipment to capture beautiful shots and crisp audio. So technically your video will be solid.
But I believe a great video isn't just about showing off technical wizardry with hyper editing and fake lens flares.
I believe a great, lasting video is one that isn't just nice looking, but delivers an emotional impact.
A video that will make you smile, make you laugh and make you cry.
That's my job.
Thank you for considering me for your day!
